you remember watching 5 nothing-to-do cops on motorcycles hide behind a church sign accross the street from BHS waiting to give tickets to J-walkers.

Ah...don't we all know someone who has gotten a J-walking ticket here in Burbank? I had to move out of Burbank to find out that it wasn't "normal" to look around for cops before crossing the street. Thanks again Sirisak.

you know that Burroughs was the "Wonder Years" high school and Bret Hart was the show's cafeteria.

Excellent submission. I knew that. I also remember that during my sixth grade year at John Muir "The Wonder Years" was taping a huge field scene on the John Muir field and some of my eighth grade friends got to be in that episode. "The Wonder Years" was fabulous...and who didn't have a crush on one of their characters :)

you are from Burroughs, and date someone from Burbank (and vice versa) and when people find out you constantly get harrassed and/or teased.

Oh that makes me sad...I hope that's not true. I went to Burbank High. When I dated seomone from Burroughs they made fun of me, but more because he wasn't the brightest cookie in the cookie jar..not so much because he was from Burroughs (after all there were some hotties over there at the rival school).

on your myspace, you list your location as "hollywood, california" or "LA, california" just to sound cool.

Okay...have to disagree on this one Corina, you are only cool if you know that Burbank is the "real" Hollywood of California and you are proud of the fact that you are "in the know." I think you know when you're from Burbank if your myspace and facebook profiles make fun of people who say they're from Hollywood or LA. Just my opinion...

Here's one of my favorite:

You know you're from Burbank if you can't go anywhere without seeing someone you know, and usually it's someone you don't like.
